Mount Kinabalu (Malay: Gunung Kinabalu) is a prominent mountain on the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. It is located in the East Malaysian state of Sabah and is protected as Kinabalu Park, a World Heritage Site. Kinabalu is the highest peak in Borneo’s Crocker Range and is the highest mountain in the Malay Archipelago.Mount Kinabalu is also the 20th most prominent mountain in the world by topographic prominence.
Kota Kinabalu / Kinabalu National Park / Laban Rata
Pick-up from city hotel, depart for 2hrs drive through Crocker Range.
Arrive at the Kinabalu National Park , register with HQ.
Then together with mountain guide proceed to the starting point at Timpohon gate start the 6-7hrs trekking up the mountain

Dinner at Rest House Restaurant overnight at Laban Rata.
**Sleep early to rejuvenate energy for the toughest part of the next morning. Temperature might drop to 0˚C along the night. There is no heater available at the moment due to technical problem, therefore please prepare enough clothing.
Laban Rata / Low’s Peak Summit / Kinabalu National Park / Kota Kinabalu
Wake up & take a late supper hot drinks to start the 4hrs trekking up to the summit, Low’s Peak @4,095m
Watch the glorious sunrise over the majestic Mt. Kinabalu
Descend to Laban Rata
Breakfast at the rest house restaurant , check-out & start trekking down to the Timpohon Gate, transfer back to park HQ to collect very own Certificate of Achievement.
